I cut off the corner of your robe but did not kill you.” David chose not to treat King Saul the way he was being treated. David knew that God had a purpose for Saul. David remembered the oil that was poured on his head, so he chose to let God deal with his battle. He could have ended Saul’s life, but he left room for the Lord.
